Current service status

Home and décor product records are unpublished. Ordering and checkout are unavailable. We currently provide store information, informational pages, search and a contact form; no product is currently offered for sale.

Personal information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • information you choose to provide through the contact form or email, such as your name, email address, message and related correspondence;
  • technical and usage information generated when you visit the site, such as IP address, device and browser information, timestamps, pages viewed and cookie or similar technology data processed by Shopify and our service providers; and
  • if ordering is enabled in the future, information needed to administer an account, order, payment, delivery, return or customer service request. Any future collection will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for those functions and this policy will be updated if our practices materially change.

Please do not send sensitive personal information through the contact form unless it is necessary and specifically requested.

How we use personal information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, operate and secure the site, diagnose technical issues, prevent misuse, keep appropriate business records, comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. If ordering is enabled later, we may also use information to administer orders, payments, delivery, returns and customer service.

We do not claim to sell personal information. We do not currently use the site to present behavioural advertising or an active marketing-signup programme.

How information is collected

Information may be collected directly from you, automatically through the site and its necessary technologies, or from Shopify and service providers that support hosting, security, communications and site operation.

Shopify, service providers and disclosure

The store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes information to provide, protect and improve its platform. We may disclose information to Shopify and other service providers only to the extent reasonably necessary to provide their services, comply with law, protect rights and security, or complete a lawful business transaction. Those providers may process information under their own privacy terms and legal obligations.

For information about Shopify's handling of consumer data, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Cookies, analytics and customer events

Shopify and the storefront may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies that are necessary for site functionality, security, performance measurement and customer-event infrastructure. The current theme audit found Shopify-hosted storefront analytics and a Shopify custom debug pixel that subscribes to standard events and logs them only when the local debug mode is enabled; it did not identify a third-party advertising destination in that pixel code. Privacy and consent settings must be reviewed again before advertising, remarketing or additional analytics tools are activated.

You can control cookies through your browser. Blocking necessary technologies may affect site functions.

Cross-border processing

Eco Bloom Supplies is operated from the United Kingdom and is intended to serve Australia. Shopify and other service providers may process or store information outside the country where you live. When Australian Privacy Principle 8 applies, we take reasonable steps required by law in relation to overseas disclosures. You may contact us for current information about relevant providers and processing locations.

Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to enquiries, maintaining appropriate records, meeting legal obligations, resolving disputes and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary according to the information, purpose and legal requirements. Information is deleted, de-identified or securely handled when it is no longer required, subject to lawful retention duties.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information and services. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so please avoid sending unnecessary confidential information by email or contact form.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may request access to or correction of personal information, ask questions about our handling of it, withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, or make a complaint. Other rights may apply in your jurisdiction. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where law requires or permits.

Where the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles apply, you may request access to or correction of personal information and complain about a suspected privacy breach. We will respond within a reasonable period.

Children

The site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information may contact us.

Complaints

Send a privacy question, request or complaint to contact form. Please describe the issue and the outcome you seek. We will acknowledge and assess the matter within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied and Australian privacy law applies, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, services or practices. The revised version and update date will be published on this page.
